Cefn Druids AFC – Passion, Strength, History
Cefn Druids Association Football Club is a semi-professional football team based in the village of Cefn Mawr, Wrexham, Wales, who play in the Cymru Premier. Founded in 1872, they are the oldest football club in Wales and play their home games at The Rock stadium.
The Project
Cefn Druids AFC came to us to help brand their new pitch side shipping container club shop at The Rock stadium. With a design already in place it was up to us to turn it into a reality!
With a black shipping container as the base, the project started by painting on the white stripes to replicate the stripes of the club shirt. From there our print team were called into action to get the graphics ready for the installations team. Print cut club logos along with sponsor logos were needed for fitting directly onto the container itself and ACM panel signs were used for the ‘ Club Shop ‘ header sign and ‘ Official Merchandise ‘ sign above the roller shutter door.
There was also a routed stand off sign for the side of the container of the Cefn Druids club badge too, along with a pitchside directional board pointing people in the direction of the shop.
