“Can’t thank Now Group enough . Fantastic communication throughout from the initial contact to install. You could not have been more helpful . All of this during COVID restrictions, lockdowns, social distancing and PPE . Nothing could stop your excellent service!”

The Project

Having worked together before, the staff at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust approached Now Group once again to help out with transforming another one of their wards into a vibrant, happy space for those recovering in their Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Ward (Gladstone Ward). The main aim was to bring the beautiful visual of Horatio’s Garden (seen by many in this ward through their windows) into the bays and side-room’s that are unfortunately not looking out into the stunning, scenic garden.

The murals were the idea of Kate Betts, Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Technician, who felt a vinyl wall mural would be the perfect solution for bringing Horatio’s Garden indoors. The beautiful photography is all down to Nia Pritchard (one of the hospital’s Medical Photographer), which turned out tremendously, and works perfectly to bring the ward to life. The vibrant wall murals, printed and installed by our team, have brightened up the plain white walls of the Spinal Injuries Ward, and made them feel less clinical and more aesthetically pleasing, calm and happy. Now Group are once again extremely pleased, and are proud to have worked with such a fantastic hospital and team.

Kate said: “I’m so pleased with how the murals look and our patients in the bays and side-rooms have all commented on how fantastic they look, so it’s already making a positive difference to them. A huge thank you to Nia for her hard work and skills in bringing these to life, and to the Now Group for a professional job, as always.”
